If the chalet is available, a 30% deposit ensures reservation, which will then be confirmed in writing. Payment can be in UK Pounds, Euros, Swiss Franc or US Dollars. Cheques should be made out to "Mark's Place Ltd.". Alternatively ask for bank account details for direct transfer.

The remaining 70% is due six weeks before departure.

Quoted rates include cleaning costs and laundry (unless 5 or more people staying).

Please note that there is a local tourist tax, which is currently 5 Swiss Francs per person per day, which you will need to pay at the local tourist office.

At the time of the 70% payment, the name and details of the local agent will be provided. She will meet you on arrival and hand over keys.

Prices
Shown per week for the chalet up to 8 people, not per person, inclusive of all taxes, cleaning at beginning of stay and change of bedding and towels. There is a £50 additional cleaning and laundry charge if booking for five or more people.
Even at the most expensive times be sure to compare Chalet Rhaetia with other accommodation on a "per head" basis!
 

High and Peak Season weeks get booked well in advance, so best to book early!
Late bargains are often available, check with the owner!

Local Deposit
Please note that a Swiss franc deposit (currently 500) will be requested upon arrival, returnable at the end of the week, after the inventory and damage check.
